Designs On Canines is family owned and operated. Judy and Kris are sisters. Judy lives in the Southeast. She is in charge of marketing. Her background in the dog fancy is as an owner, groomer, breeder, trainer, exhibitor, and handler of sporting dogs, mainly English Setters.

Kris lives on the West Coast. She is in charge of the Sewing Room. Kris is a very meticulous craftsperson, and each item that leaves her sewing room must pass her critical eye. She takes great pride in every item she produces. The new product designs are often tried out on her Border Collie, Nik.

The product line began with Water Wicking K-9 Grooming Coats. A few months later Après Field & Fun Fleece Coats were added and the new name Designs On Canines was created. Other dog related items are planned for the future. The Grooming Coat remains our main feature product.
